Saco, ME – March 7, 2012 – PeoplesChoice Credit Union held its’ 9th annual Polar Bear Scramble on the state of the art golf simulators at Fore Season Indoor Golf in Portland, Maine. This year’s event featured a sold-out field and raised $11,700 for the Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger and Maine Special Olympics. In just nine years, the event has raised over $93,200 for these two important causes.
Participants included a number of other credit unions from across Maine as well as business partners and friends of PeoplesChoice Credit Union. Congratulations to the teams of Outside TV and Systems Engineering for 1st place gross and net awards.
“We look forward to next year’s tournament and continuing to improve the quality of life for people in Southern Maine. This is a team effort and we are pleased at what this event has accomplished in just nine years for two causes that are near and dear to our hearts,” said Luke Labbe, President.
