What You’ll Do:

In this leadership role, you’ll support the overall direction and daily operations of the branch, ensuring efficient processes, compliance with policies and regulations, and a consistently exceptional member experience. This position partners closely with the Branch Manager to coach and develop staff, support performance goals, and maintain high standards of service and professionalism across the team.

The Assistant Branch Manager also plays a vital role in lending operations, acting as a Loan Officer — meeting with members, reviewing and underwriting loans, and processing approvals within authorized limits. You’ll be an active contributor to business development, member relationship growth, and the promotion of credit union products and services, also serving the acting Branch Manager when needed and providing continuity in leadership and branch performance.

  • A strong, confident leader with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the credit union space.
  • Proven ability to inspire, coach, and lead teams with professionalism and care.
  • Solid understanding of lending practices, branch operations, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a commitment to personal and team growth.
  • A positive, people-first attitude and the ability to inspire and empower others.
