SACO – PeoplesChoice Credit Union recently concluded its annual Summer Sweepstakes benefitting the Maine Credit Union League’s Campaign for Ending Hunger, raising a total of $8,650, with the Campaign receiving $6,000.
The annual event brings a simple message to participating members with its “Win Big, Do Good” premise.
“It’s the kind of event that members can participate in and feel good about,” said PeoplesChoice Credit Union CEO, Luke Labbe. “Not only do they have a chance to win the $2,500 cash prize, but remaining proceeds from the sweepstakes go directly to the fight to end hunger.”
This year, PeoplesChoice member “Amber” from Alfred was the big winner of the sweepstakes. “We’re proud to serve members who care as much about the community as we do, and that’s what makes an event like this so rewarding,” Labbe said.
