Credit Card Upgrade - May 2025

As part of our upgrade, we have transitioned to a new processor for our VISA credit card, which provides added card features and benefits. We hope that you will enjoy the enhanced services our new card provide.

Your new card comes with a new card number, expiration date, and security code. If you haven’t already, update the following details anywhere your card is stored:

• Recurring Payments (subscriptions, utilities, memberships)
• Saved Payment Methods (online shopping accounts, digital wallets)
• Bill Pay
• Automatic Payments for Your Credit Card Bill

Your old card will no longer work after May 18, 2025.

You can start using your new card on May 19, 2025.

*Your new card can be activated as soon as you receive it.

The only changes to your account are:

• Payment Due Date: Now the 20th of each month
• Billing Cycle Closing Date: Now the 25th of each month

We continue to have no fees on our credit cards. Everything else — including your interest rate, credit limit, and other terms — remains the same.

ScoreCard reward points have stopped accruing as of March 31, 2025.

The last day to redeem ScoreCard points is May 31, 2025.

Starting on May 19, your old card will stop working and your new card will become active, You will need to update your card payment information for each merchant that you currently have an automatic payment to.

Yes! You can continue managing your credit card through PeoplesChoice Online Banking and the PeoplesChoice Mobile App.

With these tools, you can view transactions in real time, make payments, view statements, and manage your card. You also have access to Card Management, where you can turn your card on or off, set spending alerts, and track your spending patterns.

No, any previously set alerts will not carry over.

You will need to set them up again in online banking Card Management.

If you are enrolled in eStatements for your regular savings/checking accounts at PeoplesChoice, your credit card statement will also be made available as an eStatement. Since our credit cards are now fully integrated with our core system, regular account statements and credit card statements must follow the same delivery method – eStatement or paper statements. We encourage everyone to enroll in eStatements for the speed at which the statement is made available and also for the increased security (i.e., not exposed to possible mail fraud).

If you have any questions about your credit card statement or need help accessing it via online or mobile banking, please call us at 207-282-4156.

You are now able to add your card to your phone’s respective mobile wallet or through the Card Management section in your Online Banking account. Upon adding your card, you may be asked to call a third-party number beginning in 1-844 to complete the activation. This is a legitimate part of the process and will bring you to our credit card processors customer service.

Our rewards program is getting a fresh new look with the introduction of uChoose Rewards. While the core benefits remain similar, the platform will offer a more user-friendly experience. You’ll continue earning points the same way, with additional features and improved access coming soon.

The uChoose Rewards program went into effect on May 19, 2025.

You’ll earn 1 point for every $1 spent using your eligible credit card.

You can redeem your points for cash, merchandise, travel, and more—just like with our previous program.

Yes, points will expire after 3 years, so be sure to redeem them in time!

Visit uChooseRewards.com to register your card and redeem points. (Note: During the registration process, authentication codes will be sent to your email address from PingOne from noreply@pingidentity.com.)

You are now able to view and manage your points directly through Card Management in Online Banking. Your points balance will also appear on your monthly statements. Any points you redeem in a given month will appear on the 1st of the following month.
